Sensicare PI Micro Surgical Gloves

SensiCare PI Micro are sterile, polyisoprene, latex-free, powder-free surgical gloves. SensiCare PI Micro are ideal for surgeries requiring enhanced tactile sensitivity thanks to their reduced thickness.

The recommended use of these gloves is for general, neuro-, vascular, plastic and eye surgery. Due to the reduced thickness and tactile sensitivity, SensiCare PI Micro are also ideal to use as an outer glove when double gloving.

Double gloving refers to the use of two gloves together to provide an additional barrier for the skin and further reduce the risk of cross-contamination during surgery.

In addition, with a unique synthetic Isolex polyisoprene formulation, the chemical structure of these gloves is identical to natural rubber latex, but without the proteins that can cause an allergic reaction. SensiCare PI Micro offers healthcare workers an alternative solution to latex because it performs like latex in terms of comfort, fit and feel. Furthermore, the powder-free nature of these gloves helps reduce powder-related skin irritation and post-operative complications associated with granulomas.

Its EZ glide inner coating assists with easy donning, even with damp hands. And these surgical gloves are designed with a cuff that is tapered and beaded in order stick to the surgical gown and prevent roll-down during use. Along with tactile sensitivity, this cream-coloured glove offers surgeons a smooth grip.
